Lock Out The User In Windows 10

To lockout the particular user for a given period of time is the necessary and important task for the every administrator. The requirement for locking the users in the system for a particular time is important because if some unauthorized user can try to access the system then he can be locked out for a while.Through this he can not be able to get unlocked until the given period time set by the admin  user.



This article shows the way through which the admin can lock the user and set the particular time period for it.


Steps to  lockout the user in windows 

1) Go to the control panel and select the administrative tools option.



2) Go to the "Local Security Policy" option.



3) Then go to the "account policies" option.



4) After that select "Account Lockout Policy" option.



5) Three options can be available in this option. Go to the second option "Account Lockout Threshold" .In this option we can set the number of failed login attempts for the user through which he having the failed login options available in it or having the chances for attempting to enter wrong password in it.

When the values of this can be changed then the remaining two options " Account Lockout Duration" and "Reset Account Lockout After" values are also changed according to it.It can be modified also.

Thus admin can set the lockout policy for the user whom he want's to lockout for that .
